Christmas at the Zoo (CATZ) Commissioned a design called the Pirate Rex Series a three piece edition in 1998. This set was limited to 800 pieces.
Connie Nicoud, Owner of CATZ described Pirate Rex as a magnificently rendered form with a warm expressive brown eyes, a lush glittered beard and a dramatic hat replete with a purple glittered jewel and gold bezel.
The mini lavender octopus sitting atop a gold treasure chest and a clear glass bottle with a black skull and crossbones painted on the front with a small treasure map inside tied with a purple satin ribbon to complete the set. The message on the map is hand numbered, has burned edges and is quite unique.
