Patricia and her husband Eric went to Poland in a voluntary two-year program for MBA's, they didn't expect to call Krakow home. They collected ornaments as a sideline and were interested in creating their own designs but couldn't find a company to work with them at the time. So they began their own designs and craft work in two rooms and used the bathtub for the silvering process and the finest glitter is used.
In 1994, they unveiled their first collection of handmade limited edition glass ornaments. Immediately, the couple was overwhelmed with orders from America's premier retailers and museums. Their addition to detail catapulted them to the forefront of the glass ornament market.
No more than 2,000 ornaments are ever produced of one design and then the mold is broken, some editions are only 500 - 900 pieces. Even if several variants are made, the total number produced remains the same, ensuring the collectability of each design.
